Order of operations · one order, many negotiations

  1. Seller lists. Signs the order (asking terms, expiry) and registers it. It shows as Fillable in the Public Orderbook. Anyone can fill at asking at any moment, all the way through.
  2. A buyer counters. The counter lands in the order's one chat. The first to counter is labeled Buyer 1, the next Buyer 2, and so on; the public sees the labels, never the addresses. The order flips to Under negotiation · 1 buyer.
  3. The public sees only the best offer. Best means most in the seller's favor: the highest value the buyer gives. The row and the Order Details show that one offer, the count of buyers, and a short ladder of amounts by label. No chats are public.
  4. More buyers, one chat. Every offer lands in the order's single chat in the order it arrived, and the chat says who outbid whom. The best pending offer is marked Best and gets the actions; beaten offers are marked Outbid or Below best but stay visible. A buyer sees the same chat and can improve their own offer.
  5. Approvals once, reused. The seller approves BAYC #1 to the desk once; it covers every buyer. Each new offer is validated against that buyer's previous one, and only added or increased amounts need a new approval.
  6. Seller acts on the best offer. Accept, counter, or decline it. A counter goes to that buyer and the chat shows it to everyone. Accepting executes on-chain: the order fills, every other offer is voided and told "order filled", and their approvals can be revoked.
  7. Or someone fills at asking. A fill at asking ends every negotiation the same way.
  8. Endings. Counters expire on their own timers; the order expires on its own; the seller can cancel. When an order ends without a deal, the chat offers to revoke the approvals it used.
